California Press Foundation Internship Grants

The California Press Foundation provides $1,500 internship grants to select students who demonstrate an exceptional interest in pursuing careers in the news paper business in California. The students are required to pursue and secure the internship on their own.

You may always send unsolicited resumes (with an explanatory cover letter) to news organizations that interest you. This method works best with smaller papers. If you are hired at a news organization, you may be eligible for funding through the Rebele Program.
