Caitlin Burke

Burke is interested in user experience design, design ethics, and human-computer interaction.

She graduated in December of 2019 from Duke University with an MA in Computational Media. Her MA thesis, “The Architecture of Facebook and the Public Sphere,” examined the 2016 US presidential election through data visualization and a UX survey of the social media tool Facebook. In addition to completing her master’s degree, she has also worked in various capacities within the technology industry. She has been an information architect, UX designer, and product manager, for companies and institutions such as Duke University, Google, HBO, and CBS. She received her BA from Columbia University in Art History in 2012.
